I recently finished this painting. It’s a meditative piece that I did for a friend. The painting has a lotus flower in the center of a triangle. The triangle contains other triangles and is contained within a circle.

Charlie Faye and Jesse Aycock perform at Wyldwood Shows on Saturday, October 9th

The big story in town this weekend is, of course, the Austin City Limits (ACL) music festival.
But if you can’t get to ACL and you are still looking for an outdoor music experience on Saturday, let me suggest that you check out Charlie Faye and Jesse Aycock at Wyldwood Shows in beautiful South Austin (4205 Wyldwood Rd., Austin TX, 78739).
Charlie kicks off the event at 7:30 p.m. The show costs $10. Here’s a video of Charlie Faye performing “Runaround” with Will Sexton.
Here’s Jesse Aycock at the Cactus Cafe performing “Used To Be.”
